Sustainable Livelihoods Through Handcrafted Excellence
The Jute Works Initiative by Jilebia-Jagdeesh Buddha Foundation is dedicated to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities by engaging marginalized communities, especially women, in the art of jute-based product manufacturing. This program not only promotes economic empowerment but also fosters environmental sustainability by utilizing eco-friendly, biodegradable jute materials.
We aim to uplift underprivileged women and artisans by equipping them with the skills, resources, and market access necessary to thrive in the jute industry. Our initiative is built on three key pillars:
✅ Skill Development – Training women in jute crafting, weaving, and product design
✅ Economic Empowerment – Creating self-employment opportunities and forming Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
✅ Sustainable Production – Promoting eco-friendly jute products for a greener future
